Hey All, we are the Krishnamurthy’s. We have two boys Rishi & Roshan and the apple of our eye Mia(golden Pyrenees).

I am Shobhana(mom), working with a CPA company in Norcross (Krishnan Company PC CPA) as an admin professional. Besides my regular work, I am also a certified yoga instructor specializing in Hatha Yoga. Currently taking classes for small groups to ensure personalized attention.

Me and Kris had an arranged wedding (2004) via a popular matrimonial website, lol, how ancient you may think, well it was exciting, very common for the community we belong to and that’s how our journey started.

We hail from the south of India, land of beaches, coconuts and curry. I love to hike, travel, and cook. My people skills takes me far, striking conversation with anyone comes naturally.

With a buzzing household with growing boys, demanding jobs, I believe in personal well-being and peace as priority.

Krishnamurthy, known more as Kris Mahalingam (dad) is an IT professional. Very active tennis player and captains a team at Bright Water, recently winning the city championship for Seniors Men’s ALTA.

Rishi Krishnamurthy (16) is a high school varsity tennis player since he was a freshman. He’s a ranked tennis player in Georgia and aspires to be a medical professional in future. He takes tennis lessons for children who are beginners and also children who have played some tennis.

Rishi completed his elementary schooling at Craig. Excelled in Crews middle and currently a junior in Brookwood High school. He was also an honor orchestra (violin) player, still enjoys playing violin helping his younger sibling with his lessons.

Roshan Krishnamurthy (12), he is my social butterfly is currently in Crews middle. He enjoys basketball and is a strong tennis player. We look forward to another varsity tennis player from Krishnamurthy household.

Mia, our four-legged baby (golden Pyrenees) is four years old. She brings us all together and makes sure we get our steps for the day. The perfect guard dog and best friend for my boys. Many people know our house as Mia house, we take pride in our puppy. She is our baby gal.

As a family we are foodies, we enjoy trying different restaurants near and far. As the only vegetarian I always look to see what the restaurant has to offers. We travel at every given opportunity to new destinations.

Our household is known to be a kid magnet, always buzzing with kids playing in our driveway, of-course under my watchful eyes.

We are residents of Gwinnett County since 2007, we moved to the Montclair subdivision in 2015. Our neighborhood is a perfect blend of nature and urban settlement, with all amenities and it is well placed to access the award-winning schools we belong to (Go Broncos).

We are very proud to be a part of the Brookwood community and raise our boys here. Taking one day at time and soaking in everything the place and community has to offer.

I wish for our community to grow with more family-owned restaurants on scenic hwy.
