BSA Troop 506 from Cannon UMC wants to make your holiday season more joyful by picking up and recycling your Christmas Tree. The Scout’s slogan is to “Do a Good Turn Daily!” On December 28th and January 4th, BSA Troop 506 will do our “Good Turn” by helping to keep Gwinnett clean and beautiful by recycling our neighbor’s Trees.
Service projects are a special Good Turn that puts our Scouting spirit into action. This year Troop 506 will have completed over 1100 service hours. Most of our service work is done right here in the Brookwood community serving our local neighbors, schools, and churches with a helping hand. Christmas Tree recycling may not be a big service project, but it provides us an opportunity to give back to our Brookwood community.
Do you have a live Christmas Tree that Troop 506 can help you recycle this holiday season? Schedule your tree pickup at http://christmastrees.troop506.com/ and set your tree out by the curb 9am on either Dec 28th or Jan 4th and Troop 506 will handle the rest. Happy Holidays from Troop 506!
